Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how AyudaYa processes personal data when people use the AyudaYa app and related services.
Privacy and account-deletion requests for the public AyudaYa service can be initiated from inside the app or through the public deletion resource linked below.
1. Who is responsible for AyudaYa
AyudaYa is provided as the AyudaYa service.
- Privacy and deletion request resource: https://ayudaya.brag.es/account-deletion.html
- Public privacy policy: https://ayudaya.brag.es/privacy-policy.html
If you have privacy questions or want to exercise your rights, use the public deletion resource above together with the publisher/support contact shown in the app store listing or on the AyudaYa service website.
2. What AyudaYa does
AyudaYa is a local help and marketplace app for Spain. Depending on the section, users can:
- create a private profile and, where available, a company profile,
- publish and manage listings,
- contact other users through in-app messages or by phone/WhatsApp where shown,
- use the built-in translator,
- use paid visibility plans through Stripe Checkout.
Some sections support both private and company flows. Restaurants are published through the company flow only.
3. Data we process
3.1 Account and profile data
- local account identifiers created on the device,
- profile name or display name,
- company profile data such as company name, category, description, city, phone number, WhatsApp number and photo,
- if online sign-in is enabled and used in your version of the app: identity data returned by the selected sign-in provider, such as email address and provider account identifier.
3.2 Listing and marketplace data
- listing titles, descriptions, prices, salary information, categories, city and section,
- listing photos uploaded by the user,
- listing contact data entered by the user, such as phone number and WhatsApp number,
- company linkage and publication plan details.
3.3 Messages
- in-app message thread metadata,
- participant display names and participant types,
- full message content,
- context metadata such as section, listing title or profile subject,
- timestamps and last preview text.
3.4 Translator data
- text entered into the main translator,
- text selected for translation in the messages flow,
- language preferences and recent translation cache stored locally on the device.
AyudaYa uses an online-first translation model. If live translation is unavailable, the app may fall back to recent cached results, device/browser translation, offline phrase matching or the original text.
3.5 Payments and checkout data
- selected publication plan,
- plan price and section,
- internal listing or provider reference,
- Stripe Checkout session identifiers,
- checkout state and payment status metadata.
AyudaYa does not process or store full payment card numbers. Card and payment method details are handled by Stripe.
3.6 Location data
- city or area manually entered by the user,
- optional device geolocation only when the user actively asks the app to use current location for supported flows, such as location-related pet reports.
3.7 Local device data
- app language preference,
- local drafts,
- recent translations cache,
- local favorites and other app state stored on the device,
- local profile/account state stored to make the app work on that device.
4. Why we process data
- create and maintain user profiles and company profiles,
- publish, show, edit and delete listings,
- enable in-app messaging between users,
- provide online and fallback translation,
- initiate and track paid publication or visibility flows,
- display maps, directions and contact options where relevant,
- secure the service, investigate misuse and maintain service reliability.
5. Legal bases
Where EU or EEA privacy law applies, we typically rely on:
- contract or pre-contractual steps, to provide the app and requested features,
- consent, where the user chooses optional features such as device geolocation, optional photos or optional contact details,
- legitimate interests, for service security, abuse prevention and operational maintenance,
- legal obligations, where retention or disclosure is required by law.
6. Who receives data
6.1 Service providers
- payment processor: Stripe, for checkout session creation, payment handling and payment status updates,
- translation service providers used by AyudaYa's backend for online translation,
- hosting or infrastructure providers used to run the app and backend,
- optional authentication providers, if enabled and used in your release build.
6.2 Other users
Data that you choose to publish in listings, company profiles or in-app messages may be visible to other users according to the section and flow you use.
This can include, for example:
- profile or company name,
- listing content,
- listing photos,
- phone number or WhatsApp number if you enter them into a listing or company profile,
- message content within the relevant thread participants.
6.3 External destinations opened by the user
If you tap a phone, WhatsApp or maps action, the relevant external app or service may process the data necessary to complete that action.
7. International transfers
Some providers used by AyudaYa, such as payment or translation providers, may process data outside your country. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards or the provider's lawful transfer mechanisms.
8. Retention and deletion
AyudaYa keeps different data for different periods:
- local device data remains on the device until the user clears it, reinstalls the app or removes it through the local data removal flow,
- supported account, listing, company-profile and message data stored by AyudaYa backend can be deleted when the user sends an account deletion request from inside the app or through the web deletion resource,
- published content, messages and checkout metadata may otherwise remain in AyudaYa backend storage until deleted by the user, removed by support or retained for operational, legal or fraud-prevention reasons,
- payment records may be retained as required for accounting, dispute handling and legal compliance.
9. Security
AyudaYa uses reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect personal data. Network requests for the production service are expected to use HTTPS/TLS in transit. No system can be guaranteed perfectly secure.
10. Your choices and rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete or restrict the processing of your personal data, or to object to some uses.
In the current AyudaYa build:
- you can delete or edit listings in supported sections,
- you can remove local account data from the device,
- you can initiate deletion of your AyudaYa account and supported AyudaYa data from inside the app,
- you can also use the public account deletion resource at https://ayudaya.brag.es/account-deletion.html ,
- you can use the same public deletion resource together with the publisher/support contact shown in the store listing to request privacy support.
When AyudaYa receives an account deletion request, the service deletes supported account-linked profile data, listings, company content and message data that AyudaYa stores for that account. Payment and checkout metadata may still be retained where required for accounting, fraud prevention, dispute handling or legal compliance.
11. Children
AyudaYa is not intended for children below the age required by applicable law to use the service independently. Do not submit personal data of children unless lawful and necessary for the relevant feature, for example a lost pet report created by a responsible adult.
12. Account deletion web resource
AyudaYa publishes a public deletion resource at https://ayudaya.brag.es/account-deletion.html . That page explains how users can request deletion if they cannot access the app, what identifying information they should provide, and what categories of data AyudaYa deletes or may retain.
13. Changes
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The latest version should be published at https://ayudaya.brag.es/privacy-policy.html .
